APPLICATION:
Apply morning and evening after cleansing, alone or as a booster under a cream, and massage in gently. During the day, UV protection should also be used. Optimal results as a treatment in combination with the Brighten products.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
ASCORBYL GLUCOSIDE
Is a water-soluble derivative of vitamin C and much more stable than pure vitamin C. In addition to a strong antioxidant effect that protects the skin from free radicals, Ascorbyl Glucoside activates collagen synthesis and stabilizes the collagen structure. The anti-inflammatory properties noticeably refine the skin's appearance in cases of impure skin and acne. In the case of pigment spots and an uneven skin tone, Ascorbyl Glucoside inhibits excessive melanin formation and lightens existing spots.
In contrast to ascorbic acid, Ascorbyl Glucoside works in the pH skin-neutral range, which enables a particularly skin-friendly application, even on sensitive skin.
ADENOSINE
A messenger substance (nucleoside) produced by the body that is found in almost all cells of the body and is used in cosmetic products as a powerful anti-aging agent. Adenosine can penetrate quickly and deeply into the skin and activate cell energy, metabolism and the production of collagen and elastic fibers. The blood flow and microcirculation of the skin are improved, and the skin structure is strengthened and compacted.
In addition, the amount of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine at the transition from nerve to muscle is reduced by adenosine, which causes the facial muscles to relax. This prevents the formation of wrinkles and smoothes existing lines and wrinkles, making the complexion appear firmer and more rested.
OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT
Is rich in polyphenols and antioxidants, especially oleuropein, the main active ingredient in olive leaf extract. These compounds have powerful antioxidant properties and can neutralize free radicals that can damage skin cells and cause premature skin aging. In addition, olive leaf extract has anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties and promotes collagen and elastin production, which can improve skin elasticity.
ZINC PCA
Is a combination of zinc and pyrrolidone carboxylic acid, which are part of the skin's natural moisturizing system, the so-called Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF). This is a group of substances on the skin's surface that ensure that the skin can retain water. Zinc PCA has moisture-binding properties, regulates sebum production and inhibits the proliferation of bacteria that are involved in the development of acne.
BISABOLO
An active ingredient extracted from the essential oils of chamomile that has moisturizing, anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Its antioxidant action protects the skin from free radicals and thus slows down skin aging. Bisabolol can also act on melanogenesis, inhibiting excess melanin production and thus lightening pigment spots.
